"In the very first picture on the top left, I’m about five years old, recording observations of nature in my composition notebook, because I was always very curious and interested in science as a young kid. In the second picture on the top right, I’m in higher education further research chemicals that could possibly help cure disease. In the third picture on the bottom right, one of my ultimate goals is to help people, especially women and young children with disease, and here a young child is thanking me for my work and I am just happy that I could help them."

Mariam, Georgia

One common problem in Georgia is what I call “brain drain”, where a lot of talented young people opt to stay abroad after they complete their studies instead or coming back to Georgia.
